The enemy of my enemy is my friend

I have had a few people ask me lately, “When did you become a Trump supporter?” I haven’t, it’s more of a “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” thing. The truth is, I find both Trump and Biden (and now Harris) repulsive. Although I do like Trump slightly more after he was shot, because I have to admit, that photo with blood on his face and his fist in the air was badass!

But that does not mean I think he is not a politician and is a megalomaniac just like all the others, of course, he is. He still supports theft, robbery, and coercion just like all the others, he just supports these things to a slightly lesser degree than the megalomaniacs on the left. So, given the choice of more theft, robbery, and coercion versus less, I will always go with less, but I would prefer none.

I like to explain these using diseases since that’s what both the left and the right are, a disease. I think of this as someone holding a gun to my head and asking me if I would rather have Gonorrhea or Syphilis. I would prefer neither, but if I had to choose, I would go with Gonorrhea because I have heard it’s not as bad as Syphilis.

There are roughly 333 million people in the United States, with roughly 250 million being adults. It’s hard to believe that this is the best we have to offer. But then on second thought, it really isn’t hard to believe. That’s because only a megalomaniac would want the job of pushing other people around and telling them how to live their lives.

This brings me to my next point of contention, “Democracy.” We have heard this word kicked around a lot during this “selection” year. It’s used as if Democracy is synonymous with freedom, it’s not. Democracy is mob rule and is the opposite of freedom. Ok, in fairness, I guess it’s better than outright oligarchy, but not really by that much. It’s the difference between a large group of people having total control versus a small group. It’s akin to the Mel Gibson line in the movie The Patriot, “Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away?”

The founders never intended for us to be a Democracy; we were founded as a Republic. Anyone who has studied history would know that after the signing of the Constitution when Benjamin Franklin was asked, “Well, Doctor, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy?” Franklin replied, “A Republic if you can keep it. Well, doctor, it looks like we failed to keep it.

The best way to explain democracy to someone is by using the pizza analogy. 10 friends gather for an event at someone’s home, maybe a football game. During the game, one person says, “I am hungry, I think we should order some pizzas and split the bill between the 10 of us.” Which is fine as long as all 10 people agree. But what if 2 of them say, “No, I am not hungry, I ate before coming over here.” Should those 2 be made to still pay? In a Democracy yes, because it’s mob rule. In a Republic, no, they would be able to keep their money and not participate or be forced to by the others.

I do not support Democracy, and I am proud to say it. I prefer self-rule, which is also known as Anarchy…I know that’s a scary word right? Only because most people have been made to believe it is. Anytime they see some mass disturbance on TV like a riot, the talking head will always say something like, “A group of anarchists burned houses and destroyed property.” This is total bullshit because someone who was a real anarchist (someone who believes in self-rule) would not be doing these types of things, that’s the work of liberal leftists.

As an anarchist, I am an iron-fisted dictator of me and mine. Nothing else, just me and mine. I also think others should be the iron-fisted dictator of themselves and theirs. This means we are in control of our bodies, property, money, and time. We should have the right to do whatever we want with our bodies, property, money, and time, so long as what we do does not trespass on someone else’s equal right to do the same with theirs.

Over the years I have evolved in my political theories, as everyone should. At one time I described myself as a Republican, then as a Libertarian, a small l libertarian, but today I identify more as a self-ruling anarchist, and I think you should too! But only if you want to. I would not want to force my views on anyone, because then I would be for Democracy instead of freedom.
